Original
Benders Came First
Joe Bender was born in 1996 in Portland, Oregon. The only
son of a gentleman farmer, Steve and his beautiful wife
Andrea, Joe grew up fast and wanted nothing more than
to start his own family and get away from the farm. Since
Joe was made of wire and magnets, meeting the right girl
was not always easy. But through enormous effort and perseverance,
he found Wendy, a spunky magnetic fireball who was just
the right size. Soon the tin wedding bells were ringing
and they started their own little magnetic family, including
Bitsy, the youngest sister; Brenda, the perky oldest sister;
and Junior, a wild child and only boy. But the Bender
family was never complete until a stray dog named Fender
Bender and a feral cat they named Mind Bender came to
make their happy home even happier. These are the original
Benders and how the whole Bender saga began. |

Extreme
Benders Shocked Us All
They are loud, have long hair and no interest in holding
"real" jobs. Mojo Bender, Joe's cousin from
a distant marriage, is the polar opposite of the conservative
Joe. He surfs, plays loud music and is highly creative
with unbridled artistic expression. Yet while different
in many ways, the two cousins also share many similarities,
like their family. Ginger, who is fun loving and freaky,
is Mojo's wife. Rita, same age as Brenda, is the oldest
daughter. Then there's Ziggy, the little brother who is
bent on becoming a beach bum just like his father. And
they, like Joe and Wendy, also have a dog named Shaggy
and a cat named Fuzz, although Fuzz was never a feral
cat, thank you. So while the Extreme Benders are loud
and sometimes obnoxious, they do provide a nice change
of pace to the sometimes quiet life that the Original
Benders lead. |
